This is a great wartime example of the traditional Soviet Union Naval Officer's Dagger, which has gilt brass alloy mounts, and comes complete with its scabbard. The blade ricasso is maker marked and dated with HM3 1945, and has a serial number on the reverse: NO 16772. The grip of some sort of yellow ochre type bone.
